Spawn (egg-mass)

When frogs are in the amplexus position, the male fertilizes the eggs. In most circumstances, frogs lay eggs in single masses. After this point, some frogs just leave their eggs. There are some, though, that hang around and watch the little ones. Some frogs have very unusual ways of caring for their young.
